If you want to play roulette online, you have hundreds of UK casino sites to choose from, so we have tried and tested the best roulette sites UK has to offer.
These picks, selected from the top 20 online casinos in the UK listed above, have both real dealer live games and video roulette.
These UK roulette sites use the latest technology to provide a smooth, immersive experience. They are all licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, so you know they are safe and legit.

Here are other highlights we like in these casinos, in addition to their best features described above:
- LeoVegas
With a selection of over 70 roulette tables, LeoVegas has plenty to offer for new players. The welcome bonus is great (although small) and you can play fun versions of live roulette like Sticky Bandits and Cash Collect. - BetVictor Casino
BetVictor’s £30 welcome bonus lets you test different types of games, including both software and live dealer roulette. The highlight of the library is definitely the new and exciting Quantum Roulette. - Grosvenor Casino
This is the place to play if you are a high roller! The maximum bets go up to £20,000, but you can make bets starting from £0.10. You can also play live games streamed from the Grosvenor brick-and-mortar casino. - Betfred Casino
Betfred is the best online roulette site with a no-wagering bonus; you get the bonus with a £10 wager. It’s probably the most user-friendly online casino for roulette enthusiasts.

How We Rank Online Roulette Sites
Any online casino worth its salt will offer a few options for playing online roulette for real money, but we considered several factors when we selected these five as the best UK roulette sites.
Our team of experts has years of experience in the online gambling industry. We use this knowledge and our passion for online gaming to give you an unbiased opinion on where to play online roulette games.
These are the main elements we considered:
- Wide Game Selection:
We want plenty of games from the earliest versions to the latest titles! In addition, we expect to find a seat at the table, whether we are doing a late-night session or a few rounds on our morning commute. - Variety of Live Casino Developers:
Variety is the spice of life! We rate UK roulette sites with games from different developers in their library more highly than those that stick to just a single product. - Live Dealer Bonuses:
Sadly, most welcome bonuses offered to new players only let you play slot games, or the wagering contributions from roulette games are insignificant. The top sites have great bonuses you can claim as a new player, then get something extra later on! - Payment Options:
The best online roulette sites we recommend accept a range of e-wallets, pre-paid vouchers, debit cards and bank transfers to give you more choices. - Short Withdrawal Times:
If you get a big win, you might want to withdraw your winnings to enjoy them! We check that the withdrawal process is straightforward and verify the casino’s stated payout speed on our own. - Customer Support Channels:
In case things go wrong, we check out the response times of the casino’s customer service channels, the accuracy of the help section advice, and the available safe gambling tools. - Casino Reputation:
Finally, we check what other players are thinking and saying on a range of platforms, forums and social media. This helps our reviews stay unbiased and helps us present the actual strengths and weaknesses.
Responsible Gambling
Every site we recommend is fully licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission, which means your money and personal data are protected.
Having a UKGC licence means a casino must provide responsible gambling tools. These include deposit limits, gaming time restrictions, session length notifications, account timeouts, and self-exclusion.
Visit Gamstop’s website to self-exclude from all legal online casinos. The organisation also provides peer and professional support if you or your loved one needs it.
Finally, legal online casinos only offer games from UKGC-approved providers. This ensures the games’ fairness and reliability, as the providers are held to similar standards as the online casinos.
New Roulette Sites in 2025
New online casinos launch in the UK frequently, and you can find all the legal ones on BonusFinder UK.
Since roulette is such a popular game, all new online casinos provide at least a few games as soon as they launch. Most of them build up their catalogues over time, but you can access some high-quality games immediately.
- Mega Riches Casino has thousands of games, but the roulette selection consists of just over 50 picks. If you spin some slots between your roulette bets, then this is a great casino for you!
- Neptune Play Casino has a huge selection of live roulette games, rivalling our top picks listed above. However, the software table games aren’t nearly as good yet.
- Casino Kings is one of the newest online casinos to launch in the UK, and there are still some kinks to work out. However, they have all the classic live roulette games we expected to see.
Online Roulette Bonus Offers
If you want to play live roulette online, you are probably interested in collecting a welcome bonus when you sign up for a new roulette site.
Not all first deposit bonuses can be used to play online roulette games, and often, any bets placed on live roulette games will not count towards your bonus playthrough requirements.
However, all the bonuses listed above can be played on roulette. The list is based on user preferences, so the top 3 are the ones our users like you have claimed the most often. Below, we’ve selected the roulette bonuses we like the most!
Roulette Site | Live Casino Bonus | Roulette Wagering Contribution |
---|---|---|
LeoVegas Casino | 100% up to £50 + £6 Chips | 100% except 40% for French Roulette |
Betfred Casino | 5 Golden Chips When You Stake £10 | No Wagering |
32Red Casino | 150% up to £150 | 20% for Most Versions |
The Rialto Casino | Up to £300 Over 3 Deposits | 20% |
The Vic Casino | Up to £200 Over 3 Deposits | 20% |
Top Roulette Casino Bonus
LeoVegas Casino offers the best casino bonus in the UK if you want to play classic casino games. Unlike most bonuses, you have to first wager your deposit 40x on live games; most of them count 100% towards this wagering requirement.
Once you’ve completed the wagering, the actual bonus is paid as cash to your account. You can then play anything you want with it! Other bonuses on our list require you to wager the deposit and bonus funds, so we think this is an excellent deal.
With the £6 in live casino chips, you can play selected live games from Evolution Gaming. The chips have no wagering requirements, so you can keep what you win! They are split into three bonuses worth £2 each and awarded on three consecutive days.

LeoVegas Casino has a great 100% bonus up to £50 that you can use to play online roulette.
No Deposit Bonus
In September 2025, we found no UK roulette sites offering no deposit bonuses. However, we are always looking for the best deals and will update our list when we find a no deposit bonus for online roulette.
No Wagering Bonus
Live casino players are often disappointed that the games they love do not contribute as much to the playthrough requirements of a casino bonus.
This is because the house edge in online roulette games is much higher than that of your average slot game, meaning you have to play through your bonus for longer before taking out your winnings.
This is why we recommend the live casino bonus at Betfred, as they do not impose any wagering requirement. Simply deposit £10 and stake it on live games; you will get 5 Golden Chips to spin the roulette wheel or play a hand of online blackjack.
While this isn’t the highest value casino bonus, it is a favourite of many British players because you get to keep what you win.

You can get 5 Golden Chips to play live roulette games at Betfred with no wagering on your winnings.
Casino Payment Methods
To claim your online roulette bonus, you have to make a deposit. You can choose from many payment options; the minimum deposit is normally £10 or £20. If you want to find the best £5 deposit by phone bill sites, click on the link!
At the best online roulette sites, you’ll find these secure payment methods for funding your casino account:
Payment Methods | Advantages | Disadvantages |
---|---|---|
Debit Cards | Accepted by all live casino sites | Withdrawals can take up to 5 working days |
Bank Transfers | No need to set up a separate account | Slowest withdrawal option in the online gambling industry |
PayPal | Very secure for online payments | Sometimes exluded from bonuses |
Skrill & Neteller | Popular e-wallets | Excluded from most live casino bonus offers |
MuchBetter | Instant withdrawals | Only accepted by a few roulette sites |
Paysafecard | Prepaid card | Withdrawals available at few online casinos |
Pay by Phone | Quick and easy when playing at a mobile casino site | £30 per day max deposit limit |
When you want to withdraw your winnings, you need to use the same payment method you used to deposit. Once you have confirmed your identity with the casino site, eWallets are normally the best way to get a fast payout.
How Live Dealer Games Work
Live dealer roulette connects you to a real casino roulette table via a video feed. The professional dealers are trained to operate both the roulette wheel and the table with its many betting options, and real pit bosses oversee the games from the casino or studio floor.
The video quality is excellent, and the carefully thought-out camera angles ensure a great casino experience. All you need to participate is an internet connection, some funds to bet with, and an interest in live casino roulette.
The game screen is divided into two. On top, you see a feed from the casino, and on the bottom, you place your bets. The table layout is optimised for ease of use, so placing your bets with your mouse or mobile device is effortless.
Once you’ve placed your bets and the round’s time limit runs out, the croupier sends the spinning ball into the wheel. All wins and losses are added or subtracted from your account in real-time.
Most live dealer studios are located at Ta Xbiex in Malta, where games run 24/7 and are broadcast worldwide. The games always have a chat feature, which you can use to communicate, congratulate, or commiserate with other players or send messages to the real dealers.
Types of Online Roulette Games

As well as lots of classic roulette tables from around the world, you can also find themed roulette games, and exciting new versions at the best online casinos like Betfred.
The best live dealer roulette games provide an authentic casino experience in the comfort of your own home. You can choose between different types of tables, like in a land-based casino; however, it is much easier to see the table details and switch to another one!
Many British online casinos offer roulette tables with an exciting twist on the classic game. Evolution Gaming were at the forefront of developing these new games, and their Lightning Roulette UK is immensely popular.
Pragmatic Play also has the fast-paced Speed Roulette, and Playtech have won many fans with Prestige Roulette. Below are short recaps of the most popular versions of roulette you can find online:
European Roulette | The most common roulette wheel found at British live casinos, and it has the numbers 1-36 and one green zero. |
American Roulette | A higher house edge due to double zero. The numbers are also in a different order, and the table layout differs from the European wheel. Normally lower betting limits than in other variants. |
French Roulette | The La Partage and En Prison rules increase the return to player. This is why it is one of our favourite live casino games. |
Speed Roulette | Recreates the fast-paced feeling of a land-based casino, and allows you to place bets even after the spin has started. |
Auto Roulette | An advanced, fully automated, precision roulette wheel capable of spinning every minute, 24 hours a day. |
Immersive Roulette | Get up close to the action and watch the ball spin in 200 frames-per-second HD video. |
Salon Privé Live Roulette | For the ultimate VIP live casino experience, these high-roller private tables give you more control and bigger maximum bets. |
Power-up Roulette | Up to five PowerUP bonus rounds provide additional chances to win, and the maximum prize in the final round can go up to 8000x. |
Mega Roulette | During every spin, between 1 & 5 multipliers from 50 to 500x will be applied to randomly selected straight-up bets. |
Football Studio Roulette Live | Regular roulette with live football chat from the dealer and fellow players. |
Lightning Roulette | When lightning strikes, up to five numbers on each spin will be lit with a multiplier of up to 500x. |
Instant Roulette | A great way to play at the pace you choose - no time frames to place your bet and as soon as you are decided, you will be directed to the next of 12 tables to be spun. |
Live Roulette On Air | New live roulette game in collaboration with Microgaming/Games Global. |
Vinnie Jones Roulette | This real dealer game may not be live, but there is a certain extra thrill in having football's hard-man spin the wheel for you. |

Many betting strategies bring you different odds for winning and varying payouts. Outside bets have higher chances of winning, but much smaller payouts. Inside bets, again, have less probability of winning, but bigger payouts.
Of course, these odds are affected by the type of roulette game you are playing and whether you are using a roulette strategy. We’ve listed the most common roulette variants above.
Roulette Betting Systems
If you’ve ever asked Google about the roulette strategy, you’ve probably stumbled across systems that some gamers swear by.
However, it bears repeating – the maths behind roulette is airtight. Online casino owners wouldn’t offer this game if it weren’t. No system can “beat” roulette – the house always wins on a long enough timeline. So always play for entertainment purposes only.
Nonetheless, you may be curious about roulette systems. Below, we’ll talk about the most popular ones used by players in both land-based and top 50 online casinos in the UK:
The Martingale System
The Martingale System is one of the oldest roulette strategies around. The principle is simple: if you lose, you double your wager until you win again. After that, you return to your standard bet sizing.
This method is hazardous. If Lady Luck turns against you, you could wipe out your bankroll in just a few rounds. Plus, your table’s max bet can limit the effectiveness of this strategy.
So, unless you’re comfortable with suddenly losing your roll, we recommend steering clear of the Martingale System.
The Fibonacci Sequence
The Fibonacci sequence is similar to the Martingale system: you increase your wager after a loss and keep doing it until you win.
But unlike Martingale, Fibonacci doesn’t endorse doubling up on losing wagers. Instead, it prescribes a predetermined wagering pattern: 1-1-2-3-5-8-13…and so on.
As chaotic as it appears, there’s a logic to the sequence. Look closer: each number is the sum of the preceding two.
This strategy is less volatile than Martingale. And because of this, it can help you avoid an early bust-out. But it still incentivises chasing losses – therefore, we cannot recommend it.
The Labouchere Strategy
The Labouchere Strategy is another standard (if complex) roulette system. The idea behind it is to make even money wagers following a sequence of numbers.
Let’s use 1-2-3 as an example. When you start, you will wager the sum of the first and last numbers in your sequence. So that would be 1+3 = £4.
If you win, you cross out the first and last numbers (in this case, 1 and 3). Then, you wager the previous remaining number (2 = £2). If you win this wager, the sequence ends – if you wish, you can reuse the last series or create a new sequence.
But if you lose, you add your wager to the end of the sequence. So, in our example, you’d go from 1-2-3 to 1-2-3-4 (and on the next round, you’d wager £5).
This system can take a lot of work to learn. Unfortunately, its complexity doesn’t overcome the mathematics of roulette. So even if you win initially, the casino will profit in the long run.
Final Tips for Playing Roulette
- Avoid American Roulette:
American Roulette adds an extra zero, doubling the house edge to 5.3%. Choose European Roulette (2.7%) or even better, French Roulette (1.3%) to significantly boost your odds. - Stick to Outside Bets:
Inside bets (single numbers, etc.) offer big payouts but rarely hit. Protect your bankroll by choosing outside bets (red/black, even/odd, columns), which hit more often and keep you playing longer. - Choose Roulette Variants with Extra Wins:
Many online roulette variants offer exciting extras. With innovative bonus features, games like Evolution Gaming’s Lightning Roulette, Double-Ball Roulette, or Immersive Roulette can boost potential payouts. - Take Advantage of Roulette Bonuses:
Online casinos offer roulette bonuses and promotions, like 888 Casino’s daily “happy hour”. Using these bonuses lets you play with less risk. - Avoid Zero-Risk Wagering:
Betting simultaneously on red and black or similar strategies to exploit bonuses is prohibited. Casinos closely monitor these tactics, will void bonuses, and may even close your account. - Forget About Exploiting RNG Bugs:
Software roulette games use certified RNGs, regularly inspected by independent agencies. Searching for flawed RNGs is futile; enjoy the game and focus on your gameplay instead. - Stay Disciplined at the Tables:
Manage your bankroll carefully, avoid high-risk bets when chasing losses, and control your emotions. If frustration sets in, take a break—the table will be waiting when you’re calm.

FAQ
- Are there more UK roulette sites than the ones listed here?
-
Yes, basically all online casinos in the UK offer online roulette. These are our top options due to the above features, but you can also pick any other online casinos listed throughout our site!
- Which bonuses are the best for playing roulette?
-
There's not much difference between the various deposit matches, but we recommend you check the wagering requirements to see how much roulette contributes. Casinos like LeoVegas and Betfred with bespoke live casino bonuses are rare, so a 20% contribution is already outstanding.
